Notable reasons for recommending this book: A wonderful story about the true meaning of life. Humphrey learns an excellent lesson about the importance of friendship over material things. The book is rhyming and has some excellent metaphors and some ocean related vocabulary that would support students in learning about the ocean and its creatures. Subtle messages about keeping the ocean clean.
