Read about how Jennifer Webb’s CPD sessions raise money for children’s and educational charities.

The charities supported by my work

I love providing practical, flexible training opportunities for teachers. Since my CPD programme began during my second maternity leave, I have donated a proportion of ticket sales from all my online sessions to charity. I am proud to belong to a profession that can commit so fully to its own development whilst also supporting worthy causes. I select charities which are linked to young people, education and empowerment of marginalised groups.

Our donation to Touchstone Loves Food paid for over 25,000 meals for vulnerable people and families during the first lockdown in 2020. Our donation to The Small Things has supported this charity to put infrastructure in place to support family reunification in Tanzania. The money we raised for Made With Music has supported work with mothers suffering from post-natal depression. Please find the charities our fundraising has helped, below.

I would love to hear about organisations you think I should work with in the future – please get in touch with your recommendations!
