Crafting KS3 Curriculum 2025

Do you want to develop your KS3 curriculum? In this course, Jenny will support you to:

• Audit what you already have in place and identify where to make tweaks and changes.
• Map writing skills and opportunities from Y7 transition all the way through to GCSE readiness.
• Map and streamline core knowledge, retrieval and depth.
• Balance the development of skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
• Create space for creativity, collaboration and reflection.
• Prepare students for GCSE without DOING GCSE content early.
• Establish a culture where students have high self-efficacy and motivation.
• Design an assessment framework which serves the subject and gives you useable information about students’ development and next steps.

This course will take place live over two days in Spring 2025:

Day 1: Friday 7th February, 9:30am – 3:30pm

Day 2: Friday 7th March, 9:30am – 3:30pm

After the event, you will have access to the recordings and resources for a full 12 months.
