Age recommendation and challenging content: Grief – coping with the loss of her sister. It is YA, but good younger readers will enjoy it too.
Notable reasons for recommending this book: It’s very modern and reads like a Netflix series. Will appeal to a cross-section of teenagers (and older readers). This is part of a trilogy (so far). Triona (and her writer husband) came to talk to our students about the writing process – inspiring.
