Crafting KS3 Curriculum

Do you want to develop your KS3 curriculum? In this course, Jenny will support you to:

• Audit what you already have in place and identify where to make tweaks and changes.
• Map writing skills and opportunities from Y7 transition all the way through to GCSE readiness.
• Map and streamline core knowledge, retrieval and depth.
• Balance the development of skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
• Create space for creativity, collaboration and reflection.
• Prepare students for GCSE without DOING GCSE content early.
• Establish a culture where students have high self-efficacy and motivation.
• Design an assessment framework which serves the subject and gives you useable information about students’ development and next steps.

This is a two day course. The first day took place on Friday 27th September. The second day will take place live on Monday 21st October. If you purchase the course now, you will have immediate access to the recording from day 1, and will also be able to join the second day live, or watch after the event.

The timings for live delivery on Monday 21st October are as follows:

Session 1: 9:30-11:00

Break: 11:00-11:15

Session 2: 11:15-12:45

Lunch break: 12:45-13:45

Session 3: 13:45-15:15

Q&A: 15:15-15:30

Once both days have taken place live online, you will have access to the recordings and all the accompanying resources for 12 months.
